Mr. Gyn

Mr. Gyn is a Brazilian rock band formed in 1997 in the city of Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The band's name is a play on words, combining "Mr." with the Portuguese word "gênio", meaning genius or talent. Led by vocalist and guitarist André Caccia Bava, the band's lineup also includes guitarist Rodrigo Baião, bassist Cristiano Borges, keyboardist Paulinho Moreira, and drummer Renato Fester.

The band gained prominence in the early 2000s with the release of their debut album, "Mr. Gyn", which featured the hit single "Minha Juventude". The song's introspective lyrics and melodic rock sound struck a chord with audiences, catapulting Mr. Gyn to national fame and earning them a devoted following in Brazil.
