Michael Monroe

Michael Monroe is a Finnish rock musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the frontman of the influential rock bands Hanoi Rocks and Demolition 23. Born Matti Antero Kristian Fagerholm on June 17, 1962, in Helsinki, Finland, Monroe rose to prominence in the 1980s as a central figure in the glam rock and punk rock scenes.

As the lead vocalist of Hanoi Rocks, Michael Monroe played a pivotal role in shaping the band's signature sound, which combined elements of punk, glam, and hard rock. Hanoi Rocks achieved international success with albums like "Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks" (1981) and "Two Steps from the Move" (1984), earning a dedicated fan base and influencing a generation of rock musicians.
