Max Herre is a German rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer, recognized for his significant contributions to the German hip-hop and soul music scenes. Born in Stuttgart in 1973, Herre first gained prominence as a member of the pioneering German hip-hop group "Freundeskreis" (Circle of Friends) in the 1990s.

As a founding member of Freundeskreis, Max Herre played a crucial role in shaping the sound and direction of German hip-hop music. The group's fusion of rap, soul, and jazz elements set them apart from their peers and earned them widespread acclaim.
