Jackson United is a punk rock band formed in 2003 by Chris Shiflett, who is best known as the guitarist for the renowned rock band Foo Fighters. Shiflett took on the role of lead vocalist and guitarist for Jackson United, showcasing his versatility as a musician beyond his role in Foo Fighters.

The band's name, "Jackson United", pays homage to both Chris Shiflett's grandfather, whose name was Jackson, and the notion of unity.
