El-P

El-P, born Jaime Meline on March 2, 1975, is an American rapper, producer, and entrepreneur known for his innovative approach to hip-hop music and his contributions to the underground rap scene. He emerged as a prominent figure in the late 1990s as a member of the influential hip-hop group Company Flow, which played a significant role in shaping the sound and aesthetic of independent rap music.

As a solo artist, El-P has released several critically acclaimed albums that showcase his distinctive production style, dense lyricism, and socially conscious themes. His solo debut, "Fantastic Damage" (2002), received widespread praise for its complex beats, dystopian lyrics, and sharp social commentary, establishing El-P as a leading voice in alternative hip-hop.
