Blancmange

Blancmange is an English synth-pop band formed in the early 1980s by Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe. The duo emerged during the new wave and synth-pop movement of the time, blending electronic music with catchy melodies, surreal lyrics, and innovative production techniques. Blancmange quickly gained recognition for their distinctive sound and became one of the prominent acts in the British electronic music scene.

The band's name, Blancmange, is derived from the French dessert of the same name, symbolizing their fusion of European influences with British sensibilities.
